Advisory

Governance assessment before technology is procured.

Fixed-scope work, led throughout by a registered clinician with a decade in clinical governance. The output is written, specific to the organisation, and usable by the people who have to act on it.

Principal engagement

AI readiness and governance assessment

For organisations considering AI in clinical or administrative work, or reviewing what they have already adopted. Two to four weeks. Seven workstreams. One integrated report with a phased plan and an oversight framework proportionate to the organisation.

Workstreams

01Current-state operational assessment
02Clinical governance review
03AI opportunity mapping across care pathways
04Risk and compliance analysis: MHRA, CQC, UK GDPR
05Data readiness and infrastructure review
06Phased adoption roadmap
07Oversight framework and accountability design

Other engagements

Scoped to the problem, not to a day rate.

CQC and regulatory compliance

Readiness assessment against the quality statements, evidence mapping and gap analysis, policy development, and a pre-inspection review conducted the way an inspection is. For providers approaching registration, inspection, or a change of rating.

Operational transformation

Workflow and care-pathway redesign grounded in how the service actually runs. Baseline measurement first, then change that the existing staff can sustain without a programme office.

Digital health implementation

Independent support through system selection, procurement, implementation governance and post-go-live review, for organisations that need an informed counterpart to the vendor.

Tender and procurement readiness

A fixed-fee audit of an organisation's readiness to bid for NHS and commissioned work, and support through submission for those that proceed.

Terms of engagement

What you can expect.

  • Scope, fee and timetable agreed in writing before work starts. No time-and-materials drift.
  • The clinician who scopes the work does the work. No handover to a junior team.
  • Recommendations name the alternatives considered and the reasons for rejecting them.
  • We do not accept referral fees or commission from any vendor, and we say so in the report.
  • If we conclude the organisation does not need what it asked for, the report says that, and the fee reflects the shorter engagement.

Enquiries

Describe the situation.

A short account of the organisation, the decision in front of you and the timescale is enough. We reply in writing within one working day with an initial view on whether and how we can help.
