Every supplier of software used in NHS care must hold a clinical safety case signed by a Clinical Safety Officer under DCB0129. Every organisation deploying it must do the same under DCB0160. Lenticula provides the officer, writes the case with you, and signs it.
What Lenticula does
Clinical safety work is done by a registered clinician whose name and registration appear on every case. Hazards carry a clinician's recorded judgement, not a template entry. The work is priced by scope and delivered to a date.
A named officer on your file. The hazard log is maintained, releases and incidents are reviewed, and the safety case is refreshed each year. For suppliers under DCB0129 and for deploying organisations under DCB0160.
A DCB0129 safety case for a new product, or a DCB0160 case for a deploying organisation, written with your team and delivered in four to eight weeks at a fee fixed by complexity.
A focused hazard analysis of an AI feature, ambient scribe or model, covering the hazards the standards do not yet name, delivered in three days as a written report you can attach to your case.
Why a separate name
A Clinical Safety Officer is an individual, not a firm. Their judgement is what procurement teams and commissioners rely on when they accept a safety case. Lenticula exists as a distinct service so that its work is never confused with Novatib's systems or advisory, and so that the officer's independence from any product being assessed is clear on the face of the document.
Lenticula is led by a registered doctor who also builds healthcare software. That is why the AI review exists, and why the method treats vendor claims as hypotheses to be tested rather than facts to be recorded.

Within one working day you will receive, in writing, a preliminary hazard list for your product and a fixed quote. Within five working days of engagement your officer is assigned and the work begins. The dedicated Lenticula site, with full prices and terms, is being prepared.
